‘The victory can be created’ ,written about VI century BC, this book is a manual for those who wants to tread the war’s
path, as said by the author ‘it is an essential vital point to the State’. However, this manual can be used by anyone who struggle to survive in life. The master affirms the need of the knowledge and the study, ‘…fulfills so it is widely studied’. So you can reach the desired goal, the victory. It can be reached, for sure, if it is associated with, 1st moral influence(harmony with the command);2nd environment (natural law interaction);3rdterrain(distances, accessibility);4th command(general’s qualities) ; 5th Doctrine(organization, control and concession of patent’s distribution). You, according to Sun Tzu, must know your enemy, who has more moral influence, who is stronger or is more dedicated to the training, must know who can administrate the Prize e the Punishment, and also be able to create winning situations. Must become a Surprise to your enemy “…when you are capable, you pretend incapacity, when you are active, pretends inactivity…” or “…break through where you’re unexpected (…). The war’s outcome should be fast, because none country has been benefited by a long war…” The essential of a war is the victory, therefore take care of your soldiers, treat them as your son and they will die for you, and also look after your prisoners because it makes you stronger. In a war, the best is to capture an intact State or the more intact possible.”… to capture the army is better than destroy it.” You must anticipate the war with tactics analyzed before, “… those who wants to improve solving difficulties must do it before they appear…” You have to attack your enemy’s strategy. In the war the orders must be given by the ones who have lived it, (…) because you can’t command a war following manual’s law. First at all you have to be UNVINCIBLE, defending yourself, after it you become VICTORIOUS attacking. To lead people you have at first give them responsibilities, because it is all about organization. You must “… drag the enemy to the battle camp and not be dragged…” without repeating your tactics. The VICTORY can be created! However there is no victory without planning. If you think you’re always about to be attacked you’ll always be ready for the war.
